You agree to use our websites only for lawful purposes and in a way that does not infringe the rights of, restrict or inhibit anyone else's use and enjoyment of them. Prohibited behaviour includes but is not limited to:
Tickets to Origen Productions shows are sold subject to these terms, the Refunds & Cancellations Policy, and the Pricing Policy. When you complete a booking:
We reserve the right to refuse or cancel any order in the event of a pricing error, suspected fraud, or breach of these terms. If we cancel an order in these circumstances, we will refund the full amount paid.
The advertised cast and creative team of any show are correct at the time of publication. We reserve the right to substitute cast members, and to make minor changes to the programme, without notice and without giving rise to a right of refund. In the event of a full performance cancellation, our Refunds Policy applies.
Licensed works — including First Date (book by Austin Winsberg, music and lyrics by Alan Zachary and Michael Weiner) — are produced by Origen Productions under licence from DALRO (PTY) LIMITED or the applicable rights-holder. The content, design, branding, and photography of our websites are the property of Origen Productions or its licensors and may not be reproduced without written permission.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, our total liability to you in connection with any booking is limited to the amount you paid for the affected ticket(s). We are not liable for indirect or consequential loss (including but not limited to loss of enjoyment, travel expenses, or accommodation costs) arising from a cancelled or altered performance.
Nothing in these terms excludes or limits liability that cannot lawfully be excluded or limited under the Consumer Protection Act, 68 of 2008.
Our sites rely on third-party services including Paystack (payments), Firebase (booking storage and email delivery), and Netlify (hosting). Their terms apply in addition to ours where relevant.
We may update these terms from time to time. The version in force at the time of your ticket purchase is the version that applies to that booking.
These terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of South Africa. Any dispute arising from your use of our sites or a ticket purchase is subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of the Western Cape.
